Most of what we do is keep systems running. We service and repair every make, hold up our end on maintenance, and when a system has reached the end, we design the one that replaces it.
A system that isn't cooling on a July afternoon needs a technician who can diagnose the actual fault, not guess at it. That's the same trade as designing a new system — it's just the other end of it.

We measure before we quote
A Manual J load calculation on the actual structure — glass, orientation, insulation, infiltration. It is the only honest way to size a system, and most companies skip it.
We install to the manufacturer's specification
Refrigerant charge weighed and verified, airflow measured, static pressure checked, controls commissioned. Equipment lasts when it's set up the way the manufacturer intended it to run.

A family trade since 1980. A Jonesboro company since 2005.
Our father, Myron Nightingale, started as a one-man heating, plumbing and electrical shop around 1980, working the trade between planting and harvest on the family farm. Samuel grew up in that truck. In 2005 the family moved to Northeast Arkansas and opened Nightingale Mechanical to do one thing well: heating and air.
Twenty years on, Samuel runs the company day to day, and the team has grown to the people you see here. The standard hasn't changed: measure first, install it right, answer the phone.
The right filter, delivered before you need it
Changing the filter on time is the single biggest thing you can do on your own to keep a system running efficiently, and the thing most people forget. So we set up a subscription: tell us your system once, choose how often you want filters to arrive, and the right one shows up at your door. No measuring, no remembering, no trip to the store.
We recommend the 3-inch return-air filter. In most homes it fits the existing 1-inch grille, filters better, lasts longer, and lowers static pressure so the blower isn't straining to pull air through it.
